Terms of Service

DG Leagues is score-tracking and record-keeping software for disc golf leagues. The app records scores, standings, check-ins, buy-ins, pots, fees, and payouts as entries in a ledger, for your league's convenience.

DG Leagues does not hold, custody, transmit, distribute, or manage money of any kind. No funds ever pass through the platform. All cash, pots, and prizes are collected, held, and distributed directly between league members and their league director, entirely outside the app. Every dollar amount shown anywhere in the app is a record of those outside transactions, not money held by us. DG Leagues is not a bank, money transmitter, payment processor, escrow agent, or gambling operator, and nothing in the app should be read as an offer of any such service.

You and your league are solely responsible for compliance with all tax and legal obligations that arise from your league's cash pools, prizes, and payouts, including any reporting or withholding required in your jurisdiction, and for confirming that your league's activities are lawful where you play. DG Leagues provides no tax or legal advice and takes no responsibility for how your league handles its money.

You are responsible for your account and for what happens under it. Keep your credentials to yourself, give us accurate information, and let us know if you believe your account has been compromised. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Use the app to run and play in disc golf leagues. Don't use it to break the law, to harass people, to enter false records to deceive other players, or to probe, overload, or interfere with the service.

Scores, names, league descriptions, and similar records you enter stay yours. You give us permission to store and display them as needed to run the service, including on public league and event pages. League directors control their league's records and can correct them. When you enter records about other people, such as a walk-up player's name and scores, you confirm you have their permission to do so.

You can voluntarily chip in to support the app. Support payments are processed entirely by third-party payment providers on their own sites; DG Leagues never receives or stores your payment details. Support does not purchase features, services, or preferential treatment, is not an investment or a charitable donation, and is generally non-refundable. Supporting the app does not change our money-custody posture: the platform still never holds or handles your league's money.

DG Leagues is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we don't guarantee that records are error-free or that the service is always up. The ledger is a convenience, not an authoritative financial record; your league's own cash handling is the source of truth.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, DG Leagues and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any dispute between league members about money, scores, or prizes. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to $50.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above and may ask you to acknowledge the updated terms in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
